About Raintree

Raintree has the distinction of being one of the first planned communities in Henrico County. Opened in 1972, it is comprised of 1,100 homes and townhomes in a unique, wooded setting that includes single-family detached homes, townhomes, and 105 acres of common space.

The Raintree Association is comprised of six wards of single-family homes and eight wards of homes in the following communities:

  • Foxfire

  • Heritage Hill

  • Ivystone

  • Raintree Commons

  • Raintree Villas

  • Stony Run Patio Homes

  • Stony Run Townhomes

Raintree is unique in offering residents proximity to all that Richmond has to offer, while maintaining a completely natural setting. In addition to having a number of different housing types, it is a covenanted community with benefits not found in other neighborhoods.
